 Description:
"The art I create is scissors cutting, Scherenschnitte, and Grain Painting. Scherenschnitte is a Pennsylvania-Dutch Folk Art. I start with a blank sheet of paper, draw a design in pencil and cut it out with scissors, paint the details with watercolor and install it in a hand made wooden frame I have Grain Painted. Grain Painting is also an old Folk Art and was originally used to simulate a wood grain. I also apply the same technique to Shaker Style Boxes."
