"My materials are fine Italian wool, mohair, cashmere blends worked into sculpted shapes. At my worktable, I create shapes normally achieved with felt, but use flat pattern and couture construction techniques. I am constantly developing my own patterns. I cut my pattern, cut out fabric, stitch, try out, cut, pin, squish, cut again, sew, try out new constructions, try on, till I feel it is perfect. My hats are beautiful inside and out, elegant, designed to enhance qualities in the women wearing them."
